Are freshmen needed to live on campus?
No, students that are first-year not required to reside on campus. Most first-year students do go on campus because of the ease of transition at home to campus life, usage of university resources in addition to capacity to make lifelong friends.
Can everyone take online courses?

How is my school that is high GPA for admission?
Your GPA is recalculated in line with the academic core courses (including English, math, science, social studies and foreign language). UCF uses a 4.0 grading scale, and also awards additional quality points for almost any weighted courses in the core that is academic. UCF shall consider applications from students who will be educated through a home-school program. Home-schooled applicants should submit a home-school transcript which includes a listing of all coursework (both completed and in progress), showing final grades and units earned for each course completed. A brief description of the methods useful for evaluation should accompany the home-school transcript. If home-schooled applicants previously attended another school or completed courses through the Florida Virtual School or through dual enrollment at a college that is local university, official transcripts are expected.
